FALLing into Place
Sometimes things have to fall apart before they come together. I mean, COMPLETELY fall apart in order to wholeheartedly come together!

I’ve written about what a big adjustment life was from last spring until this one.
A lot of joy for sure, but also A LOT of adjustment.
New rhythms. New circles. New activities. New workload. New environments. New OPTIONS. New. New. EVERYTHING was new, although I felt like I was returning to much of what I’d known.
I adjusted and readjusted. Only to need to adjust yet again.
Then, this summer something amazing happened. Everything seemed to be coming together.
My schedule. My work. My connections. My commitments. My CLARITY. Summer was the cool breeze and reassuring hug I needed!
And this helped to usher in the fall semester with so much more anticipation and EXPECTATION.
Just six and a half weeks into my second year at the new gig and my mind is blown + heart filled to overflow at the ways in which work and life outside of work are unfolding.
I so often end my blog posts by saying I am grateful. And this is often true.
I’ll say once again just how grateful I am.
Looking back over last year I KNOW having a church home, a consistent movement schedule and recurring events to look forward to sustained me. A loving community of friends and associates supported me. HOPE that all the chaos would soon make sense nudged me. And a belief that I made the right choices – the God-guided choices – comforted me.
What a blessing to be reminded that yes, things do FALL apart. And how sweet it is that they do indeed come together in more beautiful ways than we could ever hope or imagine.
